About us
Let us own our information again.
Computing never stops changing. In a world forever accelerated by innovation, we build applications that stay on the side of the person using them.
Where we stand
-
Your data stays yours
Applications that make no use of your personal data. Not to train, not to measure, not to resell.
-
Built to work offline
Processing happens on your hardware. Unplug the network: the application carries on doing its job.
-
Outbound connections spelled out
When an application has to leave your machine, it is written down, it is named, and it stays under your control.
-
You are not somebody else’s product
The software is paid for once. Nothing else is taken along the way.
The traffic label
Saying where the data goes, application by application.
Every application on this site carries a label stating what stays inside your machine and what leaves it. Two marks, no gray area.
- Offline
- Local analysis
- Outbound: Whois lookups
- Outbound: research libraries, your call
Solid dot, sage green: processing never leaves your machine.
Hollow dot, slate blue: a connection goes out, and the label says where to. Look Network queries Whois registries because that is the service it renders; Orchestrator only reaches a research library if you plug one in.
What we are after
Software you don’t need a doctorate to use.
Recent technology has opened up real possibilities, then buried them under unreadable technical stacks. Our work is to make those disappear: the application installs, it is set up in a few clicks, and it does what it says. What is complex stays at the back; what belongs to you stays at the front.
The range grows as releases come out. Each version does better than the last, and replaces the last — never your data.
Ethics charter
The ethics charter is being written
It will set out our commitments on data handling, the models used and license terms. It will be published here.
